Abstract

L'invention concerne la préparation d'une bobine de mèche de fibres de verre. On étire un certain nombre de filaments de verre à partir d'une source de verre en fusion, on rassemble des filaments pour former une mèche, on fait passer la mèche ainsi formée à travers une zone de réduction de la tension pour réduire la tension de la mèche, on fait passer la mèche à travers une zone de turbulence d'un fluide dans laquelle le fluide est introduit perpendiculairement au trajet de la mèche et tangentiellement à la paroi courbe de la zone, et on bobine à grande vitesse la mèche sortant de cette zone de turbulence du fluide. Application : bobinage de mèches de fibres de verre.
