Abstract

L'invention concerne la purification du soufre. L'invention consiste à utiliser de l'air ou de l'air enrichi en oxygène à la place de l'azote, en association avec un catalyseur comme de l'alumine, pour extraire l'hydrogène contenus dans du soufre liquide. Ce procédé augmente notablement la vitesse de dégradation des polysulfures en hydrogène sulfuré et la vitesse d'extraction de l'hydrogène sulfuré. Application à la fabrication du soufre.
