Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de commande d'un chalumeau coupeur comportant une tuyère de découpage agencée de manière à assurer la formation d'un courant d'oxygène de protection, ladite tuyère comportant un canal à oxygène de découpage et au moins un canal à oxygène de protection, ainsi qu'un canal d'amenée de gaz de chauffage, la vitesse d'écoulement du courant d'oxygene de protection étant inférieure à celle de l'oxygène de découpage, à l'extrémité des canaux associés. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'on amène dans ledit canal à oxygène de protection 5 à 25 % de la quantité d'oxygène amenée dans ledit canal à oxygène de découpage. Elle se rapporte aux chalumeaux coupeurs autogènes.
