Abstract

Ce dispositif comporte deux entrées et deux sorties d'information, chacune de ces sorties ayant une mémoire tampon pour emmagasiner toujours un mot d'information. De ce fait, il est possible de choisir parmi plusieurs possibilités pour commander le transport de l'information. Le dispositif comporte par exemple aussi sept lignes de contrôle entrantes, à savoir deux lignes pour recevoir un signal qui indique si de l'information est présente sur la ligne d'entrée correspondante, deux lignes pour indiquer la mémoire tampon de sortie sélectionnée, deux lignes d'effacement pour rendre accessibles une mémoire tampon après l'évacuation de son information, ainsi qu'une ligne de priorité pour rendre une seule des deux lignes d'entrée prioritaire. Le dispositif comporte par exemple quatre lignes de contrôle sortantes, à savoir deux lignes qui indiquent que l'information, présente sur les lignes d'entrée, est reprise dans la mémoire tampon sélectionnée, et deux lignes qui indiquent si une mémoire tampon contient de l'information.
