Abstract

The camping trailer has a front extension which is located above the roof of a car, the towing coupling also being mounted on the roof. The coupling consists of a slide block fixed on the underside of the extension, and a carriage fixed on a plate. The carriage has a coupling head for the caravan. Movement of the carriage is pref. controlled by springs to compensate for the braking reaction forces of the car. The plate may have a frame with arms fixed to the gutter and rear of the car roof.
