Description
Une très large part des attelages classiques voitures, ou véhicules légers, avec remorques légères se présentent sous l'aspect de la fig.1 et sont constitués d'un attelage à boule suivi d'un timon d'une longueur égale à la demi-longueur de la voiture plus une garde de 0,20 mètre, soit environ 1 mètre. L'attelage tel que décrit, transforme l'ensemble voiture-remorque en un volume rigide dans le plan horizontal, tout en conservant l'indépendance des volumes voiture et remorque dans le plan vertical. L'ensemble attelé réagit en tenue de route comme un véhicule 6X2 à roues indépendantes et peut se désolidariser comme un attelage voiture-remorque classique avec en plus la sécurité qu'offrent en cas de rupture de la boule ou de son support, les deux points A et B de fixation avant sur le toit de la voiture.The hitch geometry is materialized by an isosceles triangle
