Abstract

a. Passage de distribution de chaleur du système de réchauffement du collecteur d'un moteur à explosion. b. Le réchauffeur est situé dans le collecteur d'admission à proximité de certains orifices d'admission qui dirigent de l'air aux cylindres du moteur. Le passage de distribution fait communiquer un point adjacent au réchauffeur avec une ouverture dans un orifice d'admission éloigné. Lorsqu'une soupape d'aspiration s'ouvre pour laisser passer de l'air vers un cylindre, il se produit une réduction momentanée de la pression dans l'orifice d'admission. Cette réduction fait que de l'air quittant le réchauffeur traverse le passage et entre dans l'orifice d'admission où il se mélange à l'air d'admission non chauffé. Une dimension appropriée du tube par rapport à la surface effective de l'orifice assure une distribution de chaleur uniforme entre tous les orifices d'admission. c. Pour moteurs diesel.
