Abstract

Procédé pour préparer des isomères du diisocyanatodiphénylméthane à teneur réglée en composés du chlore par distillation des mélanges de polyisocyanates formés par phosgénation de condensats aniline/formaldéhyde. Dans une colonne à distiller 1, on sépare d'abord les isomères du diisocyanato-diphénylméthane, fraction I, on distille ensuite cette fraction dans une colonne à distiller 2 à un rapport de refluxde 0,1 à 10 en évécuant de 0,5 à 10 % du poids de la fraction I en pied de la colonne 2, le produit de tête de la colonne 2, fraction II, est débarrassé des impuretés volatiles et, le cas échéant, du 2,4'-diisocyanato-diphénylméthane dans une nouvelle distillation d'où le produit de pied est finalement séparé de manière connue en soi en 4,4'-diisocyanato-diphényl-méthane purifié et éventuellement en 2,4'-diisocyanato-diphénylméthane purifié. Les isomères du diisocyanato-diphénylméthane isolés conformément à l'invention contiennent beaucoup moins de chlore hydrolysable que les produits correspondants préparés industriellement selon la technique antérieure.
