a. L'invention concerne un produit pharmaceutique nouveau, le p-isobutyl-hydratropate de gaïacol. b. On le prépare par condensation du chlorure de p-isobutyl-hydratropoyl avec le gaïacol en présence d'un catalyseur acide. c. Ce produit est doué d'une activité analgésique, anti-inflammatoire, antiseptique, antipyrétique et expectorante.
