Abstract

On prépare l'acide p-hydroxyméthylbenzoïque par hydrogénation électrochimique d'acide téréphtalique. On procède à l'hydrogénation de l'acide téréphtalique en présence d'ammoniac ou à celle du produit de réaction de l'acide téréphtalique et de l'ammoniac en solution aqueuse.
