Abstract

The harvester comprises an input shaft transmitting movement to a horizontal shaft driving vertical shafts supporting drums provided with discs to which radial cutting blades are connected. Between the lower bearing of the drum and the upper bearing of the neck of the ground plate is an elastic washer for reducing shock to the assembly when the plate strikes the ground. The horizontal shaft is mounted on similar members fixed to the transmission housing and carrying bearings and crown wheels. Each vertical shaft is mounted on bearings having conical rollers. Each members has an L-section periphery mounted by studs. The bearings of members have seatings communicating with the base opposite by radial holes.
