Abstract

Double circuit household electrical rocket outlet supplied from single phase supply. The socket outlet provides two distinct electrical circuits. One circuit is fed directly from the single phase supply. The other circuit is supplied from the same single phase supply via a switch. The socket outlet has three poles one of which is common to the two distinct circuits. In addition the socket outlet has an earth connection which is common to both circuits. On the face of the socket outlet are symbols indicating the poles between which a circuit connection can be made. The common pole that is the one common to each of the two circuits has a protection fuse inserted in it.
