Abstract

Vaisseau torique semi-submersible destiné principalement à l'exploitation du pétrole offshore. Le vaisseau dans sa forme préférentielle est composé d'un tore excentré dont le centre de gravité placé sous le centre de carène, le maintient en position verticale avec la partie renflée disposée à la base du navire. L'invention peut être utilisée comme stockage de pétrole brut ainsi que de plate-forme de forage et de production.
