Abstract

Engin flottant dont la surface supérieure est destinée à recevoir, supporter, et protéger au moins partiellement la surface corporelle d'un nageur couché à plat ventre sur ledit engin, celui-ci étant pourvu d'un carénage protégeant au moins partiellement la surface immergée de l'engin, ainsi que les autres parties du corps du nageur bras et/ou tête ou jambes exposées le plus dangereusement aux chocs contre corps étrangers en cours de déplacement de l'engin, des moyens étant prévus de plus sur ledit carénage, d'une part pour permettre au nageur de s'y accrocher, et d'autre part, éventuellement, pour augmenter la stabilité directionnelle de l'engin. Application à la descente sportive des rivières et torrents rapides.
