Abstract
The material consists of a copper alloy containing from 1.5% to 4% of iron and up to 0.04% of a deoxidant. Advantageously, said alloy contains from 2% to 2.5% of iron, from 0.005% to 0.02% of phosphorus as a deoxidant and from 0.05% to 0.25% of zirconium. In addition, the material may be age-hardened.
