Abstract

a. Procédé et appareil pour la fixation d'agrafes de jonction ayant une section en U, à cheval sur le bord d'un tapis transporteur, d'une courroie ou similaire, au moyen de crampons métalliques ou analogues, enfoncés à travers des trous prévus dans les deux branches de celles-ci. b. De part et d'autre de l'emplacement prévu pour l'extrémité du tapis correspondant ou similaire, le présent appareil comprend une enclume mobile 14 et un ou plusieurs poinçons d'enfoncement 15 aptes à se déplacer perpendiculairement au plan général du tapis de même que l'enclume mobile, mais en sens inverse, sous l'action de moyens d'entraînement distincts. Dans une première opération, on presse l'enclume 14 contre cette branche non encore rabattue des agrafes. Puis on applique les poinçons 15 contre la tête des crampons pour les enfoncer dans le tapis ou similaire. Enfin, on exerce des pressions en sens inverse à la fois avec l'enclume et avec les poinçons, pour écraser la pointe des crampons. c. Ce procédé et cet appareil peuvent servir à la fixation d'agrafes de jonction sur des tapis transporteurs, des courroies ou analogues.
