Elément chauffant à résistance électrique et son mode de fabrication. Elément chauffant constitué de fil circulaire conducteur chauffant isolé électriquement, mis sous forme d'un enroulement cylindrique aplati par compression dans son ensemble. Cet élément est obtenu en comprimant les spires de l'enroulement jusqu'à ce qu'il soit aplati, et en oxydant l'enroulement pour former une couche isolante électriquement L'enroulement est particulièrement utilisable avec des plaques chauffantes électriques en verre réfractaire.
