Abstract

L'invention concerne un chauffe-eau instantané alimenté par une source électrique. Le chauffe-eau comprend une conduite 1 faite d'un métal de résistivité comprise entre 50 et 120 mu OMEGA /cm dont les caractéristiques de forme et de dimension sont prédéterminées, la conduite étant placée à l'intérieur d'une enveloppe externe 4 remplie d'une substance calorifuge électriquement isolante 5 de manière à ne pas venir en contact avec l'enveloppe, l'extrémité 2 de la conduite étant raccordée à une source d'approvisionnement en eau et l'extrémité 3 délivrant de l'eau chaude, la source d'alimentation électrique 6 débitant une faible tension et une intensité élevée et prenant la forme d'un transformateur T qui est connectée aux extrémités opposées de la conduite. Le chauffe-eau de l'invention est d'un fonctionnement beaucoup plus sur et moins dangereux que ceux utilisant le gaz, et il est d'un fonctionnement plus commode que les chauffe-eau électriques à accumulation.
