Abstract

The conveyor consists of two tension drums (1) one of which is a drive drum. The endless belt (10) consists of a plain belt (11). The tension is adjusted by a movement of the drums. The belt has two sloping sides ending at the edges with two lips which can overlap and enclose completely the space inside the belt. A number of loops (20) are spaced equally along the length of the blet. The pitch length of the scoop (31) becomes equal to the arc (32) when the belt travels over the drum. The triangular spaces (15) may be strengthened along the outside edges.
