Abstract

A v.h.f. inductance has a core with an outer ring (1) and an inner concentric ring (2) or disc. It has at least one spoke (3). The spoke is of a specific width. It provides an electrical connection between the inner and outer rings. The inductance assembly is made in a single piece from a sheet of electrically conducting metal. The thickness of the layer of metal forming the inductance core is less than 1/20 of the wavelength of the oscillations handled by the circuit. The inductance core may be formed by a photogravure process.
