Abstract
The appts. is for operating electrical contacts of heating elements (26), under vacuum having a piece of electrical conductor (23) and metallic bellows (15) associated with each contact which are sealed with ambient air at atmospheric pressure at the time of sealing, one end being fixed at a suitable constant distance from the conductor and the other co-operating with a push button (20) to close and end of the heating element (26) close to the conductor when the assembly is placed under vacuum. The end of the bellows (19) remote from the fixed end carries a shaft (20) adjustable in position so that it moves contact with the end of the heating element (26) when the position of the bellows changes.
