Abstract

The keyboard for an air-tight box comprises n-keys where n >=1. There is a printed circuit (1) sepd. from the keys by n flexible metallic plates (2). An air-tight elastic casing (3) covers the metallic plates and is moulded around the sides of the printed circuit and soldered to the box. The flexible plates are made of bronze and beryllium and each is electrically independent when making contact with printed circuit. Contact between one of the flexible plates and the printed circuit may be obtd. by pressing the key associated with the plates considered, contact being made through the metallic strip (33).
