Abstract

The cylinder door lock is opened by inserting a key into a profiled slot. This raises the tumblers, permitting turning of the barrel. This barrel has a piston fitted axially in line, forming its front face. The key has a shoulder, on the same side as the teeth, used to push in the piston against the pressure of a spring. This enables the control plunger, locking the barrel, to be lifted in combination with an additional form on the key. A security plate, fitted over the front face of the piston, prevents picking of the lock and control piston.
