Abstract

The space saving sanitary appliance comprises a floor cupboard with a hand basin built onto the top surface, containing a retractable toilet pan. The pan includes a turbine type pulverizer disposal unit, and is plumbed to a water supply. The unit has controls which ensure that the water supply is coordinated with the operation of the pulverizer and disposal unit. The pan may slide on rails or run on wheels, and be provided with flexible pipe connections. The hand basin may be provided with a separate water supply and waste.
