Abstract

The bracket has a vertical portion which rests along the side of the post by is held firmly to the post by means of circular bands (4) fitted to the post. Each bracket has a horizontal arm (1) which has a flat upper surface (6) and is furnished at the outer end with a large slot (7). The bracket supports an insulator (11) which is bolted to the bracket by means of the two bolts (13). An insulated through bolt (8) is connected to a wire hanger underneath the bracket, an alternative fixing arrangement allows the angle of the insulator to vary to meet individual requirements.
