Abstract

The ski lift cable support has a vertical pillar (40) with a horizontal distance piece (44). This is connected to a support bracket (43) having a number of arms (42) carrying a number of angled toothed wheels which mesh at the top, and have their flanges is close proximity. The cable (25) passes over the wheels and the lift arms (27) fixed to the cable pass in between them. The guides (45, 46) hold the lift arms in position.
