Abstract
The appts. is for measuring leakage losses in a liq. pipe system and comprises forward and return flow meters consisting of differential pressure transmitters and pressure measuring transducers. A first switch allows parallel connection of the inputs of two pressure measuring transducers to one of the differential pressure transmitters. The transducer outputs are connected to a first subtractive connecting stage and, by controlled switches, to a second connecting stage. The differential signal of the first is passed to a store of which the contents can be applied to the second stage as a correction signal with reverse preceding sign. The output signal of the second stage is passed to an integrator with fixed integration time, of which the output supplies an indicator.
