Abstract

The containers (4) are arranged in rows on a support plate (1) made from a semi-rigid material such as cardboard. The cardboard blank is precut and prefolded so that the support plate is joined to side walls (2, 3) which can be folded perpendicularly and interposed between each row of containers thus forming a semi-rigid rack. The complete package is then encased in a sheet of plastic material which is emitter removable or stretchable and improves the resistance of the package to damage. Packages of this form can be easily stacked and transported to their place of sale.
