Abstract
Plant for drying moist air, by passing it through the evaporator of a refrigeration machine so that the water condenses, and then reheating the dry air incorporates a heat exchanger. The moist air undergoes a first cooling and condensn. by passage through the exchanger. It then passes through the evaporator. The dry air passes to the heat exchanger, where it is reheated and then passes to the condenser of the refrigeration machine and is again reheated. The energy consumed is a half to a third of the total quantity of heat exchanged in the plant.
