Abstract

The approach indicator comprises at least one light projector composed of a reflector, a glow lamp the filament of which is on the axis of both the reflector and a objective lens. Each light projector has a second glow lamp which is laterally offset in relation to the axis of the corresponding reflector. The indicator has a selector switch device enabling either one or the other of the lamps to the operated. The indicator may include two projectors side by side in the horizontal plane, the whole having an axis of symmetry in which the second glow lamp is symmetrically arranged in the horizontal plane in relation to the indicator axis of symmetry.
