Abstract

The packing tray is made from a single square piece of corrugated card with the corrugations running parallel to one of the sides of the square. The box is set at 45 deg. to the cardboard. The box has a rectangular base (1) with two sides (2) and two ends (3) integral with it. The sides have two slots (4) designed to take the lugs (13) at the edge of the folded over side panel. Similarly an end slot (5) is designed to take the end lug (18) in the folded over end panels. the corner pieces (6) are also fitted into the end slots (5) by means of the lugs (21). the tongues (14, 15) are slipped into the fold of the sides (2).
