Abstract

The smoke generator for use in fumigation consists of a hopper (3) into which wood shavings are loaded. An archimedean screw (4) driven by the motor (5) feeds the shavings into the combustion chamber (6). An agitator (16) driven by the motor has a blade (14) which levels the surface of the burning shavings (7). A floating wheel (8) is connected to a level controller (9) which signals the feed motor (5). A second agitator blade (17) stirs the fire. A fan (24) feeds air to a bed ring (10). The smoke leaves by the chimney (25). Condensate is collected by the tube (27) and drops with the ash into a tray (7).
