Abstract

The tipping seats are for use in dual purpose vehicles. There is a fixed tip-up axis pointing in the seat direction and with at least one foot which can be tipped up from the floor of the vehicle. At least one support guide (11) is coordinated with the foot (5) and is supported at one end by a fixed link. The other end of the support is connected to the foot (5) by a swivel link (13). This reaches a dead centre position during the tipping up of the foot in relation to the foot fulcrum (10) in which the support guide (11) freely supports the seat above the vehicle floor.
