Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive to effectively utilize a dead space in the interior of a vehicle, by a method wherein a fuel tank is placed in a tunnel provided at a floor panel, and the top surface of the tunnel can be used as an arm rest for the passenger. CONSTITUTION:The tunnel 2 projected upwards from the surface of the floor panel 1 is provided at a central part in respect of the transverse direction of the floor panel 1, and the fuel tank 3 is placed in the tunnel 2. The tank 3 is supported by a tank band 11 provided beneath the tank 3. On the other hand, a floor carpet 16 is laid on the top surface of the tunnel 2 so that the top surface can be utilized as an arm rest for the passenger.
