Abstract

The wrist watch winding and setting mechanism uses an axially movable winding and setting stem (1) and a transmission wheel (3), co-operating with the latter, which can pivot to transmit the rotation of the stem (1) to the winding means (4) or the setting means (5). The transmission wheel (3) is fixed to a U-shaped rocker arm (6) so as to lie parallel to one of its limbs, the other limb (6a) being shorter and acting against the profiled end of the winding and setting stem (1) so that the rocker arm (6) tips when the stem (1) is moved between two given axial positions.
