Abstract

The dry store with the material carries by stacked pallets (4) mounted on wheels, as in the main patent, has a chamber (1) which is almost completely sealed. The air distributor tubes (2) are mounted around three sides, at very low level, with discharge holes (3) which direct air onto the bases of the stacked pallets (4). A fan (6) at one end forces air from (5) through the tubes (2) so that the chamber is under low pressure, and a filter (7) is positioned at the other end. The stocks of pallets are positioned to assist the even distribution of air around them. There are no discharge tubes at the end of the chamber where the filter is located.
