Abstract

The drying plant is partic. for wood chips, and has a perforated container (1) comprising a ventilation chamber (2), and at least one dry goods chamber (5,6). The ventilation chamber is connected to a fan (10) producing an air current through the material, and via a vertical separator wall is divided into at least divisions connectable to the fan pressure and suction sides. This connection is alternated by a throttle arrangement (11). The divisions can thus be alternatively connected to the fan pressure and suction sides and/or only to either of the sides.
