Abstract

The envelope is rectangular and is furnished with a sealing flap (8) at one end. The envelope has a frame (2) which has a transparent window (1) on one side of it. The transparent window may be rectangular or may have an oval outline to blank out the corners of the envelope. The back of the envelope also fixed to the frame is made of opaque cardboard or paper. If a picture postcard is inserted in the envelope, the picture may be seen through the transparent window. The writing on the back of the card is invisible.
