Abstract

861,010. Envelopes. WILSON BROS. (PRINTERS) PTY Ltd. Jan. 9, 1959, No. 914/59. Addition to 840,747. Class 146(2). In a mailing instrument according to the parent Specification wherein a sheet of paper, printed on one side, with a message 6 and which is folded and sealed to enclose the message, and wherein one of the edges of the sheet has an opening 9 for the insertion of a letter-opener, one half of the surface opposite to the message 6 is printed with an overall pattern to render the instrument opaque. When it is required to add information to that already printed at 6 after the instrument is sealed, an area or areas of transfer medium 13 are provided on the inside surface whereby a marking 12 can be made from the outside.
