Abstract

A rocker arm (12) is driven by a cam fitted to the drive shaft of the press. The tocker drives a plunger (19) which actuates a lever to move a sweeping arm (18). This clears the workpiece from the die, and a spring returns the sweeping arm to its original position ready for the next stroke of the press. The plunger and a return device are pref. mounted in a casing fixed to the body of the press. the automatic ejection device may be easily fitted to existing machines.
