Abstract

The safety harness is fitted around the wearer's body and comprises belts around trunk and thighs. Straps are used, coming together at the front for attachment to the safety line. Each end of the harness at the front is folded over and back to form a loop (a,b). Equally, metal rings can be fixed to the straps. These loops are fitted one over another, one set being trapped. A cord (c) is passed through the free loops, lining these together, If required, the cord can be knotted around each loop to fix the cord. This then forms the attachment to the line.
