Abstract

The lifting hook locking device comprises a section forming the hook (11) at the lower end. AT the upper end is a yoke (12) acting as a guide and pivot point for a locking device comprising a closing finger (32) and a lifting eye (33). In the closed position, the finger tip bears against the curved front portion of the hook, and a spring-loaded safety catch (4) allows the finger to be locked in this position. There may be a spindle (2) fitting in the yoke and locking device, allowing the latter to pivot freely. The safety catch can pivot on a spindle (6) inside the upper end of the yoke.
