Abstract

The cooling device of a false twisting machine having multiple false twisting stations includes several tubes through which cooling fluid is pumped. Each yarn passes longitudinally along a tube in contact with the cooler. The tubes are connected to a common inlet and a common outlet between which the cooling fluid is pumped through a return circuit including a heat exchanger to cool the liquid. Improved cooling is achieved, improving the extensibility of the texture yarn.
