Abstract

The anchors consist of pegs with any desired cross-section e.g. round pegs, and the distance between the ends of two pegs in the mould and on each side of the crack is smaller than the distance between the pegs on the outside of the mould. The pegs can be welded onto the steel strip and be a press fit in the holes; or the pegs can be cooled to -60 to -80 degrees C for shrink fitting. Several alternative designs are given, including steel clamping straps.
