Abstract

Magnetically driven pump in which the pump rotor (1) is overhung on a shaft stub (6) on which it rotates, the stub being held firmly against a dividing wall (4) separating the motor and pump parts, and can actually pass through the wall. The rotor support pin (6) is connected via ball bearings (8) or other intermediary parts to the motor shaft (5) location in such a way that it can be retained immobile, and therefore a static seal (9) can be provided between the pump rotor (1) shaft stub (6) and the dividing wall (4) between the motor and pump parts. The pump rotor (1) has a magnet core (2) which is driven by a magnet crown (3) behind the dividing wall (4).
