Abstract
The sea wave energy operated device has a parachute type sail which is connected by lines to a boat, the action of the wind inflating the sail creating a force with a vertical component which increases with the wind speed to help maintain the position of the sail. A group of turbogenerators is connected to the boat, the turbogenerators having hydraulic turbines which are operated by displacement of the device caused by the drag of the sail. Electric generators are driven by the turbines, the boat being provided with devices to store the energy provided by the generators.
