Abstract
The sea wave energy converter comprises a large, hollow toroidal vessel which is semi-submerged, and either anchored directly to the sea bed, or attached to an arm. Various methods are used to convert the kinetic energy to electrical energy, one employing a hydrodynamic magneto. Alternatively, liquid trapped in the toroid may be used to rotate a propeller driven generator.
