Abstract

The clutch assembly is esp. for vehicles, and contains a ring-shaped housing, and a pressure plate connected non-turntable and axially displaceable, relative to the housing. Controllable flexible elements are positioned between housing and plate, to maintain the distance. This assembly may be fastened via the edge of the housing to a reaction plate, to controllably retain a friction disc between the two plates. The housing (10) edge (18) incorporates radially extending fixing points (35), with projecting distance pieces (38). The distance pieces extend axially, and have a contact surface (39) at a distance to the fastening points, to support themselves on the reaction plate (32). A distance piece has an ear in the shape of a segment extending parallel to the housing axis.
