Abstract

The cap or head (6) has annular ribs (20) for clipping over the top of the pressurised container. Its top face, styled to suit the package, has a pressbutton (13) moulded in it. This button, also suitably styled, is attached to the head by several bridging safety seals (15) on two opposite sides (8). the lower portion of this button has a sleeve (18) and a central tube (16, 17) fitting over the container valve. The seals prevent accidental operation during storage and when these are broken, the surrounding walls of the head form guides for the vertical up and down movement required to operate the spray.
