Abstract

The packaging tray is erected from one rectangular piece of card, folded over the pots of yoghurt. The blank has four cutouts, forming the sides(3, 4), and three slots(8) for each pot. One slot is at each end and two are diametrically opposite and all are at the junction of the upper surface(1) and the side wall. These slots locate the flanged rims around the tops of the pots, with slits(9) at 90 deg. and others, allowing secure gripping. The side walls taper inwards and are held together by glued tabs. The pots are held in close contact by the dimensions of the surface.
